Why?

Good Story

- For the last few years we kept rising funds for homeless animals
- We kept helping injured animals
- We found home for many and made shelters for few
- We involved many volunteers
- We managed to make things a lot better
- We tried to turn the public's attention towards our cause

Bad Story

After all these years we understood that no matter how much time, effort and money we spend, those homeless animals kept having their problems. No matter what, the street animals kept being exposed to bad people, kept being injured in car accidents, and kept dieing in our hands or in the hospitals. We understood that we have to build a shelter for those homeless animals where they can live and feel safe while we are looking to arrange their adoption.

We need to raise the money to buy a suitable plot where we will build a large animal shelter and hospital for homeless and injured animals

Strategic location of the plot

It is perfectly located between 3 states so it can accomodate animals from those three districts (Varna, Dobrich and Balchik). It is located on a main road between those countys which makes the access to our services fast and easy. It is located near natural parks and wildlife sanctuaries and stands on the famous Via Pontica bird migration way which is used by many rare and endangered spicies. 80% of the european population of white storks and 100% of the white(pink) pelicans as well as the extremely rare imperial eagle, egyptian vulture and griffin

The plot

We have found a suitable plot which we keep out of the marker at a small monthly fee. The plot is just over 113000²ft(10500²m) and is perfectly located between the 3 main cities in the area. It is situated 10 minutes from Varna, 10 minutes from Balchik and 15 minutes from Dobrich so that we can accept animals from the whole region. The plot is large enough to accomodate few large buildings but to be fair we have the capability to fill the whole shelter in the first few months. Here are some pictures to map the location

In some countries of the world in the winter the temperature doesn't drop too much but here we experience temperatures as low as -38°C (-36.4°F). How can our animal friends survive out in the open when we know the water freezes at 0°C (32°F) and our body is 78% water.

A SHELTER Foundation is a cause based non for profit charity foundation which means we will not work for profit. The purpose of this foundation is to accumulate capital to invest in charity causes while also educating the masses regarding various environmental problems

A SHELTER Foundation is oriented towards the environmental problems caused by humans interacting the nature. We want to recover the equilibrium by developing projects, causes and initiatives to restore the health in the ecosystems.
